THANK YOUsDec 2011: We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Morrison's Supermarket of Nantwich for inviting us in-store to raise much needed funds. The generosity of the customers was wonderful and we raised £182 which will kennel and feed a dog for two weeks whilst we find him or her a loving new home. Without these collections we really couldn’t continue the work we do locally so we were very grateful for the invite. THANK YOU, MORRISONS!! |
Become a Branch Sponsor A branch sponsor (or benefactor) is an individual or group that provides regular support for the work of the branch either financially or through the provision of products or services. We are looking for a range of sponsors to support our key service - the care of our animals while they await their new homes. We are totally self-funded and, whilst we hold regular collections in town centres, it isn't enough - so we are looking for sponsorship because today, more than ever, we are being asked for help in many different ways. We estimate it costs approximately £500 to rescue, rehabilitate and make one dog ready for rehoming (covering kennelling, neutering, vaccinations and microchipping - if the dog requires additional veterinary treatment, it costs a lot more), and for a cat it costs around £300. We want to be able to help all the needy animals in our area, but we are struggling. The Crewe, Nantwich & Districts Branch is run entirely by volunteers;
nobody takes a penny in expenses from our fundraising efforts - every
bit goes to the animals in our care. If you could help us, please
download our sponsorship
form and see where you would like to contribute. Every pound helps
us to save an animal from our area. We understand that some potential sponsors may not be in a position to make an ongoing commitment, but a single (even a small) donation of any amount would be very welcome. |

Dec 2011: Another huge thank you to Ken and Shirley Davies of Davies Tropicals (56-58 Wheelock Street in Middlewich) for the recently donated food which couldn’t have come at a better time as we approach Christmas with full kennels. Nov 2011: Audlem postie, Sam, was sponsored by her work colleagues to wear her shorts through to the end of October. Sam kindly donated the proceeds to us. So a big THANK YOU to Sam for getting cold for the benefit of our creatures; your discomfort was not in vain. June 2011: Many thanks to Morrison's Supermarket of Nantwich for allowing us the use of their premises for our annual collection for essential funds which will provide vital care for local cats and dogs. June 2011: Thank you to the organisers of the Hankelow Fete, who provided us with our stall for free. It was a rainy day, but appreciated none the less. May 2011: Many thanks to Tesco, Crewe for allowing us the use of their premises to carry out our annual collection for essential funds to provide vital care for local cats and dogs. March 2011: We are very grateful to Dick
Rowlands of KallKwik, Crewe who
kindly supplied our branch letterhead. Jan 2011: Many thanks to Morrisson's in Crewe for allowing us the use of their premises to carry out our annual collection for essential funds to provide vital care for local cats and dogs. Sept 2010: Thank you to the employees at Unipart Rail, Crewe who raised money for our branch via their Pound-for-Pound Dress-Down Day. |
